This workshop takes in the rocky seashore and upper shoreline/splash zone land plants and some animals (vegetarian workshops can be organised), linking modern day uses of seaweed with our heritage . You’ll gain a knowledge of which of sea vegetables are tasty and what to do with them, be that fresh or dried. Preserving of seaweeds and recipes are covered. We’ll taste prepared foods and cook/put together tasters on the beach too.
Suitable footwear is needed for walking on sand, rocks and getting wet shoes.
