WildCamping is open 1st April until end October 2019
You have 3 options to stay on our land:
All offer timeless simplicity with classic comforts in canvas tents (traditional, sustainably sourced and made in UK). We only have 3 tents which ensures privacy and peace, each bespoke and sitting amongst nature.
Nature’s swimming pool, the sea, is a pebbles throw away, so there’s time for a dip before breakfast, or a jump off the slipway at high tide before a 3 minute walk back up a cute sunken path back to warm up.
Fires, a fire bowl, or rocket stove to cook on or gather around.
The facilities barn has 2 bathrooms, each with a toilet, hot water sink and shower (and one with a roll top bath for a soak). Here you’ll also find an area to wash dishes with hot water, a fridge and electric point for charging phones and lanterns. Wifi is not available on site, but close by cafe/restaurants offer it. There’s tourist information, where to buy local produce, plastic-free and permaculture living, and a library. A washing machine (£2) for dirty laundry, and hang out to dry.
Lighting is with solar fairy lights and rechargeable lanterns…and the moon! The barn has electric lighting.
Shop…we don’t have one! However I’m happy to pick things up for you on my way to the land, for your arrival or during your stay (just ask). The closest shop is a 30 min walk up a hill, or 3 min in a car, via hedge vegetable and goats produce stalls. It’s best to pick up things on your way to your tent. We do have options for food baskets and vegetarian cooked food.
