Tents are ready from 2pm. Please advise us of your estimated arrival time. If you are likely to be later than 7pm please let us know so we can arrange for someone to meet you and show you to your tent. Tents must be vacated by 10.30 am on day of departure. We will always try to be flexible with arrival and departure times when we can to make your holiday enjoyable, for example you may be able to check in earlier, leave later or pop your things to the site and then go off and explore.

We understand that travel arrangements may change due to weather.

Your visit to the land and local area

Guests and visitors agree to be considerate tenants and to take good care of the tents and facilities during their stay. Guests and visitors agree not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to other guests or other people sharing the land and local area. Should any facilities, equipment, or inventory, be damaged wilfully, as a result of inappropriate usage or a as a direct result of failing to respond to instructions from us, you will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of that item. We cannot accept responsibility from any loss, damage, or expense arising from industrial action, terrorist activity, adverse weather conditions or any other event outside of our the control.

The land in which the camp is situated is a habitat to natural flora and fauna, which we encourage and support.  We do not control animals or insects and we allow the flora to grow naturally. Thus depending upon the time of year certain creatures such as wasps, field mice and spiders may enter the tents.  We have farm animals on the land (goats and ducks) which are kept fenced off and away from the camping area. We have family cat.

By its very nature WildGuernsey is a campsite in a natural environment. There are natural hazards, such as tree roots, poisonous plants, and extremely limited lighting after dark, and depending upon weather conditions, cold, wet and slippery surfaces.  A pond is situated close by and fenced off.

By Booking and coming to WildGuernsey you agree to be responsible for your children and any children you are in charge of, and your own welfare and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to the land, facilities and tent, such as regarding litter, fire, noise after 10pm and before 8am. Anything you bring to the campsite and any damage or loss to your possessions is at your own risk. You use the facilities and amenities at the camp at your own risk, e.g. the communal camp fire. Candles are not permitted in the tents, and we provide lanterns and torches for use. We accept no responsibility from any loss or injury arising from being in the campsite. By booking, acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, you are aware of the risks, hazards, and dangers of personal injury in entering on the land and environment.

WildGuernsey is a no smoking site.  Close off-site there are quiet lanes to smoke, or well away from others.
